If you have spent the past few days wondering whether those increasingly obvious Oasis clues really meant what everyone thought they meant, you can finally stop guessing. The Gallagher brothers are coming to Spain, and fans now have two chances to see them next summer.
Tickets will not be available simply by turning up at the sales page and hoping for the best, though, so if you want to be there, there are a few dates worth putting in the diary now. Oasis has officially announced its Oasis Live ’27 tour, with the Spanish dates confirmed for July 10 and 11, 2027. It will be the band’s return to Spain after 18 years away, following its last Spanish performances in 2009.
Barcelona gets the Gallagher brothers
The announcement brings an end to days of increasingly unsubtle hints from Oasis, which had fans examining social media posts for clues about the band’s European plans. Earlier this month, the group posted videos featuring different European cities, including Amsterdam, Paris and Rome, while one clip contained a reference to Catalan artist Joan Miró. At the time, there was still no official confirmation that Spain was actually on the itinerary.
Now there is no need for detective work. Barcelona is officially on the list. The tour will feature 38 concerts across the UK, Ireland, mainland Europe and the United States, beginning in Glasgow on May 21 before moving through Manchester, Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris and Rome. Richard Ashcroft will join Oasis as a special guest throughout the tour.
Oasis tickets: what fans need to know
If you are already mentally clearing your calendar, the next important date is September 17. Anyone hoping to attend the Barcelona shows, whether you live in Spain or are planning to travel in for the concerts, must register through the official Oasis website by 05:00pm CEST on September 17. Registration does not guarantee a ticket. Instead, successful applicants will receive a unique code giving them access to a designated ticket-sale window.
There will be no general sale or additional public presale, so simply waiting for tickets to appear on Ticketmaster will not be enough. Fans also need a Ticketmaster account to take part in the process. The Barcelona ticket sale will take place across September 25, 26 and 27, with registered fans allocated different purchasing windows. Reported prices range from around €85 to €255, depending on the ticket category, with Ticketmaster charging an additional €2 transaction fee.
Travelling to Barcelona for Oasis
For anyone travelling from abroad, the official ticket route is the same: register through the Oasis official website first, then use the access code if selected. Tickets should be bought through the authorised sales process rather than unofficial resale sites, particularly after the problems surrounding the band’s 2025 ticket sales. And that last point is worth remembering. The previous Oasis ticket scramble became infamous for enormous queues, pricing controversy and fans struggling to get tickets, so the new registration system is intended to give fans a more controlled route into the sale.
For fans who remember Oasis before the Gallagher brothers’ infamous split, the Barcelona concerts will be more than another date on a summer tour. The band reunited for its hugely anticipated comeback in 2025, but Spain has been waiting considerably longer to see the brothers share a stage here again. And now the wait is nearly over. Two Barcelona nights are officially on the calendar, and anyone hoping to sing Don’t Look Back in Anger with thousands of other Oasis fans has until September 17 to get registered and hope their name comes up when the ticket scramble begins.
