The actor is known for his action-packed roles and knows how to attract the audience to the theatres. His movies have often turned out to be blockbusters, giving a tough competition to his contemporaries. Did you know, he was the first actor to demand Rs 100 crore per film? No, he is not Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, or Rajinikanth.

The actor we are talking about is Salman Khan. He is often cited as the ‘King of box office.’. The superstar charged Rs 100 crore in 2016 for the first time for his film Sultan. The sports romantic drama also starred Anushka Sharma in the lead role and was a big hit. Salman’s career has not always been smooth. But often, he has stated how his flops (Tubelight, Race 3) have also earned at least Rs 100 crore at the box office.

For the past few years, Salman Khan has been struggling to mint good numbers. His past theatrical releases like Dabangg 3, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Tiger 3 didn’t earn as expected. But it looks like 2025 might change that with his Eid release, Sikandar. Fans can’t wait to see him do kickass action on screen in AR Murugadoss’ film, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna.

Along with being the first Indian actor to demand Rs 100 crore for a film, Salman Khan is also the highest-paid host on Indian TV. As per the reports, Khan’s fees for Bigg Boss 18 were around Rs 250 crore. The superstar reportedly charged Rs 60 per month for hosting the reality show.
