Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit starrer Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai recently went through many changes in the story. Rohit and Shivani passed away, leaving the families heartbroken. Abhira and Armaan broke down as they lost two most important people of their life. Ruhi was shattered as she could not understand how to live without her husband. Ruhi is pregnant with Abhira and Armaan’s baby and hence, we saw everyone being extra worried for her. Ruhi’s world turned upside down and she was even about to commit suicide. But Abhira and Armaan saved her.
She soon realised she was about to end Abhira-Armaan’s baby as well and she even forgot about Daksh. Armaan and Abhira promised to be with Ruhi throughout and take care of Daksh along with her. Armaan had promised Rohit that he will always take care of Ruhi and Daksh.

We will see that he will react even when a small issue crops up around Ruhi and Daksh. He will start ignoring Abhira and get close to Ruhi. Seeing this, Ruhi will also feel good and will slowly start falling in love with Armaan again. Soon, Daksh will also start speaking and he will call Ruhi ‘mumma’. However, he will start calling Armaan ‘papa’ leaving everyone shocked.
Abhira gets uncomfortable with this and will feel ignored. Ruhi will start seeing Armaan as the perfect father for Daksh and a perfect husband for her. She will soon wish to have him in her life.
