As Page Six’s Associate Shopping Editor, I’ve tried plenty of mascaras over the years — but only one has become my absolute must-have.
While I used to be skeptical of an over-$20 mascara, since testing out YSL Lash Clash, I haven’t turned back. And since the one thing I don’t like about it is the price tag, year after year I stock up by buying a discounted duo during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
Since YSL products hardly ever get marked down, it’s truly the golden opportunity to try them for less. (The sale ends on August 9, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this set sells out before then.)
While a lot of volume-promising formulas can cause clumping, in my experience, this one grabs every lash without getting goopy.
Plus, unlike other mascaras I’ve tried, it really stays true to its 24-hour smudge-proof promise. Even in an NYC heat wave, I can put it on at 8 a.m. and trust that it’ll still be looking just as good by the time I get to an evening event.
It provides both a volume boost and a little lift — so much so, a friend once even asked if I was wearing falsies.
While I use the black version, the mascara also comes in dark brown and waterproof variations, should you prefer.
