Nora Fatehi is excited about playing the female lead in Remo D’Souza directed Be Happy. The film is set for a direct to OTT release on March 14 on Amazon Prime Video. It stars Abhishek Bachchan in the lead and Nora is happy to be sharing the screen with him. When we met her recently for the latest episode of Spotlight With Smrity, we asked her about her experience of working with Abhishek and Nora first told her the reaction of her friends when they learnt about Be Happy, “People around me told me, wow! Nora, working with Abhishek Bachchan, that is insane.”
Further about working on the film, Nora Fatehi revealed, “Usually when I am shooting for a film, I am so anxious as there is so much going on on the set. Sometimes I am not comfortable, you feel a little bit insecure. But this set, the moment I walked in, it was like we all were a family. There was so much positivity.”
Further hinting at how she must have had an unpleasant experience on the set earlier, Nora said, “No one was trying to overshadow the other person. Everyone was working together.” About Abhishek Bachchan, we reminded her of the video from the film’s wrap up party that went viral last year and had fans rooting for this new onscreen jodi. Reacting to this, Nora shared, “There was a vibe. We all were having a good time and that’s how the vibe was on the set when we were shooting. Whenever I needed any guidance I went up to Abhishek sir and he was always there to help. He was my mentor.”

Nora also revealed that the film is very special as it marks a new chapter in her life as an artist. “I have known Remo D’Souza sir for many years now. Right from 2016 when I began my career. He has been part of my whole growth as an artist. And now in Be Happy, I am acting, dancing. My role requires me to have a bond with a child and it shows my nurturing, softer side instead of my glamorous side. This is what I want the world to see and the Be Happy team gave me the platform to display that,” the actress shared.
Be Happy also stars child artist Inayat Verma and South Indian star Nassar in key roles and Harnaaz Sandu in a cameo. It is an endearing father daughter story and starts streaming on Prime Video on Holi, March 14.
