Nicole Kidman is returning to her roots — literally.
The actress has been embracing her natural curly hair lately, opting for loose and airy ringless instead of her more frequent pin-straight styling.
Sharing a rare personal snap to her Instagram on Sunday, Kidman celebrated her daughter Faith’s 15th birthday, holding a white frosted cake with pink candles while wearing a colorful “Happy Birthday” headband.
In the post, she wears the Dôen Adelphine Top ($298), leaning into the bohemian vibe with her natural blond curls falling past her shoulders.
“Happy 15th birthday baby!” the post read.
Kidman has been embracing her lighter side lately, seen on Christmas Eve with the same casual hairstyle.
For the Christmas party, she chose a silk boudoir-inspired slip dress with similar lace insets to her latest lightweight cotton top.
Though the newly single 58-year-old has opted for pin-straight or slightly wavy hair over the years, the curly style is a throwback to her signature curls earlier in her career.
It’s unclear whether the actress is still in Sydney, Australia, or has returned home to the United States for her daughter’s birthday.
Kidman has had a whirlwind end to 2025, following the announcement of her split from husband Keith Urban at the beginning of September.
Immediately following, she hit the road with her two daughters, appearing at multiple fashion week events, including her daughter Sunday Rose’s appearance on the Christian Dior Spring/Summer 2026 runway in Paris.
She will also be one of the co-chairs of this spring’s Costume Institute exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
