Newlyweds Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce stepped out for a romantic date night in New York City over the weekend, just two months after tying the knot at Madison Square Garden.
The couple dined at the Indian restaurant Ambassadors Clubhouse, a hotspot located in the NoMad district, on Sunday night.
As seen in pics obtained by Page Six, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end held his wife close as they walked into the restaurant from their SUV.
The pop star dressed to impress for the outing, wearing a metallic brown halter dress by Stella McCartney.
She paired the look with a burgundy purse by the same designer, bronze metallic shoes and the Elizabeth Taylor opal ring and bracelet set, which Kelce gifted her for Christmas last year.
Kelce, for his part, donned a white, silk, striped button-up with brown pants and checkered Vans.
The duo’s date night comes three months after they said “I do” in a star-studded ceremony at Madison Square Garden on July 3.
While the singer has yet to break her silence on the lavish event, Kelce gushed over the “magical” night earlier this month.
“We needed it to be a private feel. And MSG went above and beyond to give us that,” he told fans during an episode of his “New Heights” podcast. “I can’t thank everybody enough that showed up, but also that helped put the show on, and it was a very magical, magical night.”
Swift and Kelce, both 36, have made several public appearances since the big night. Their first outing as husband and wife was at JuJu Smith-Schuster and Laura Kruk’s wedding, just one week after their own nuptials.
In photos obtained by Page Six at the time, Swift wore a strapless pink floral ball gown while Kelce opted for a gray suit. The couple looked all loved-up as they joined guests making their way into the venue.
The couple’s Sunday night date comes just days before the official start of Kelce’s NFL season. The Kansas City Chiefs will face the Denver Broncos on Monday, Sept. 14 at Arrowhead Stadium.
As Page Six previously reported, Swift and Kelce are still getting settled into married life while juggling their separate busy work schedules.
“Taylor and Travis spent so much time together in the months leading up to the wedding, and they were pretty much inseparable,” a source exclusively told us last month. “Now they’re settling into this new rhythm as a married couple and really enjoying what that feels like.”
Our insider continued, “They both still light up when they refer to each other as husband and wife, and there’s something really exciting and special about that for them.”
However, the source explained that the pair are still trying to figure out their “new normal” as they throw themselves into their respective careers.
While Kelce is “completely dialed in on this NFL season right now,” the musician has been “pouring herself into writing new music.”
But despite their bustling careers, our source insisted that they still find ways to make time for one another and are “really enjoying finding their rhythm as a married couple.”
