But Naomi Watts suffered a rare fashion fail as she attended the 2025 Golden Globes in Los Angeles on Sunday evening with her husband Billy Crudup.
The Mulholland Drive star wore a strapless black dress which featured a bizarre pink hemline that resembled a duvet cover.
The 56-year-old Aussie actress let the unique frock take centre stage by wearing minimal accessories – a pair of diamond drop earrings and her engagement and wedding rings.
Naomi had her blonde bob neatly straightened and she added another pop of colour with her bright red lip.
Meanwhile, her husband Billy sported a bushy beard and looked dapper in a black tuxedo with a crisp white shirt and a black tie.

The beauty – who portrayed Babe Paley in the FX miniseries – also received an Emmy and Critics’ Choice Television Award nomination for her role.
The couple’s appearance at the awards show comes after they rang in 2025 with a ‘perfect’ family vacation to Barbados in the Caribbean.
Naomi shared an assortment of snaps to her Instagram page from the memorable trip.
The pair were also joined by her two children – Sasha, 17, and Kai, 16 – whom she shares with ex Liev Schreiber.
In one image, Naomi was pictured cozying up with The Morning Show actor as they sat outside at a restaurant.
She held a small smile on her face as she rested her head on his shoulder and Billy sweetly pulled her in closer.
She also snapped a selfie while soaking up the warm sunshine with Billy and her teenage son Sasha.

During the trip, Naomi and her family had the chance to indulge in a variety of tasty meals.
In one photo, the actress took another selfie while some of the family members explored the tropical destination.
The star lounged on the sandy shore while her son had a blast surfing and he also caught a crab which he held towards the camera.
Naomi discovered a mini, heart-shaped rock and took a snap as she held it in her hand.
At one point during the getaway, the entire group was seen posing for a memorable group photo while standing on the sandy shore next to the ocean.
She also included an image of the beach to show the surrounding palm trees and colorful sky at sunset.
At the end of the Instagram carousel, Naomi shared a short video as fireworks filled the night sky on the island.
As she zoomed out, other onlookers could be seen gazing up at the display while also filming the moment.

Back in 2023, Naomi and Billy tied the knot at a New York City courthouse following six years of dating.
During an interview on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, the actress explained that the plan hadn’t always been to say ‘I do’ at the courthouse.
‘It just happened that way,’ The Impossible star stated. ‘We knew we wanted to do it, it was something we were very keen on doing and quickly.’
She further reflected, ‘It was really lovely. It was a classic New York day. You ran into all kinds of people, some were dressed to the nines, some were walking quickly in and out. It was very special and very memorable.’
Last year in June 2024, the lovebirds held a second ceremony in Mexico with their loved ones also in attendance.
Watts was in a previous relationship with actor Liev from 2005 until their split in 2016 after 11 years together.
Despite the separation, both she and Liev still remain in each other’s lives as they co-parent their two children.
In 2019, Naomi told Net-a-Porter, ‘We’re doing things very differently. I’m pretty proud of us, corny as that may sound.’
‘We’ve made it our absolute priority to be good and kind to each other and we’re absolutely committed to that.’
Billy is also father to son William, 20, whom he shares with ex Mary-Louise Parker. The pair previously dated from 1996 through 2003.
In September of last year, Naomi gave rare insight to her relationship with Billy during an interview with E! News at the 2024 Emmy Awards.
‘It’s much easier to do this with someone,’ Watts expressed, referencing to her husband walking the red carpet with her.
‘Doing any of these award shows or public appearances – it helps to just having someone on your team and holding the hand and a little bit of eye contact to center yourself. Because even with practice over the years, it’s not that natural.’
With both she and Crudup working in the industry, she revealed to the outlet, ‘We talk about work quite a bit.’
‘We’ll run through ideas we have about scenes or characters. And I have to say there are no competitive vibes at all.’
