Naomi Watts proudly walked the red carpet with her 16-year-old child, Kai Schreiber, after supporting the budding model’s runway debut.
The actress was beaming on Monday as she and the teen — who uses she/her pronouns — posed for pics at Cinema Society’s screening of Bleecker Street’s “The Friend” at an IPIC Theater in New York City.
The “King Kong” star, 56, looked chic in a mock neck white gown adorned with black furry spots from Jacquemus’ spring-summer 2025 ready-to-wear collection. She completed the ensemble with white pointed-toe shoes and a sleek, straight bob.
Schreiber’s outfit was much more fashion-forward, with the teen opting for a pink-and-purple polka dot cropped blazer layered over a pink top. She paired it with a silk ruffled skirt, black lace tights and red accented heals — all by Valentino.
The fashionista also carried a black-and-white purse by the Italian fashion house.
Schreiber made her runway debut at Valentino’s Paris Fashion Week show earlier this month, prompting Watts to cheer her on via social media.
At the premiere, Watts was seen with a big smile on her face while hugging Schreiber — who kept composed with a smoldering model-esque gaze. A spy divulged to Page Six that Watts was telling Schreiber to smile for the cameras.
The “Mulholland Drive” actress also posed on the red carpet with her husband, Billy Crudup, whom she married in June 2023. She and “The Morning Show” actor, 56, held hands as he attended the event in a suit and no tie.
Our spy told us that Crudup was overheard joking about how he “married up.”
Other celebrities at the Cinema Society premiere and party, held at The Fulton by Jean-Georges, included Bill Murray, Mark and Sunrise Ruffalo, Connie Britton, Zooey Deschanel and Jonathan Scott, Fran Drescher, Carol Kane, Morena Baccarin and Ben McKenzie, Brady Corbet, Hamish Linklater, Griffin Dunne and Fisher Stevens.
Watts shares Kai and son Sasha, 17, with her ex-partner Liev Schreiber, whom she split from in 2016 after 11 years together.
Liev, 57, is also a supporter of Kai’s modeling career and defended her against nepo baby haters days after the show.
“I don’t really have any thoughts for the haters,” the proud father told TMZ earlier this month. “I’m going to put it to you like this: What if you were a professional actor, and your child decided they wanted to do something in this world? Do they have a choice of what you did?”
He continued, “That’s her life. She does what she wants with her life, and I’m super proud of her. I thought she did an amazing job in the show.”
Liev — who continues to amicably co-parent his two kids with Watts — married Taylor Neisen in July 2023 and they welcomed daughter Hazel Bee the following month.
