Mrs Hinch has revealed ‘disgusting’ thieves have callously stolen jewellery belonging to her late father Alan, nearly two years after his death.
The cleaning influencer – real name Sophie Hinchliffe – said her mother is heartbroken after their home was targeted on Tuesday in Maldon in Essex.
Mother-of-three Sophie, 35, took to Instagram to call out the ‘cowardly’ individuals for ‘ripping away what little her grieving mother had left’ and issued a plea for sentimental jewellery to be returned.
‘I can’t believe I’m writing this. To the vile individuals who broke into my parents’ home in Maldon today, 27th January, between 10am and 6pm,’ she wrote
‘You broke into a grieving woman’s home and stole her jewellery! Items that belonged to my late dad. Sentimental, irreplaceable pieces that you had NO right to touch.
‘Let me be very clear!!! This WILL NOT be dropped. That jewellery may be worthless to you, but it’s priceless to my mum. She has already lost her husband and is trying to piece her life together, and you chose to violate her home and rip away what little she had left of him.

‘You knew exactly what you were doing. This is beyond theft!! It is cruel, disgusting, and cowardly.’
Sophie announced her father’s death on Instagram in May 2024, a month after he was hospitalised with respiratory issues.
She wrote at the time: ’25th April 2024. My precious Dad passed suddenly but so peacefully whilst he slept. My life, our whole world, has been turned upside down.
‘A deep unimaginable pain I cannot put into words.
‘My loving Dad, Our boys beloved Grandad, Your workshop is locked up and I sleep with the key. I promise to keep your workshop dream going.
‘Until we meet and sing together again. Goodnight Dad My absolute king. Your Bubberloo.
‘Grief, I’ve learned, is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give, but cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go.’
Sophie did not reveal her father’s cause of death in the heartfelt statement.
