On Mondays, we wear pink bikinis.
Twinning with her mini-me, Molly Sims stood by the water’s edge in coordinating pink swimsuits alongside her daughter, Scarlett Rose.
“When in Miami 🌴😜,” the actress captioned the Instagram photos.
In the first pic, Sims stands in profile, holding up her left hand with her left pointer finger in the air and her right hand on her hip.
In the second, the leggy former model and young Scarlett both throw peace signs with their fingers, embracing one another.
Ten-year-old Scarlett wears the Snapper Rock Shirred Triangle Bikini ($52).
Sims spent the holiday with her family, including husband Scott Stuber. Over the past few weeks, she has shared a handful of images of her children playing with their cousins.
“Finally some sun,” the actress wrote on one selfie, alluding to the less-than-ideal weather she experienced during her trip to South Florida.
It seemed, though, that she was indeed able to enjoy some fun in the sun with her littles.
The 52-year-old is no stranger to posing for fun bikini photos. In April, she shared a candid pic from Cabo in a black and gold two-piece, looking totally ageless.
When posing for the cover of the 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, however, she got candid about her impressively youthful looks.
“I hate when people are like, ‘Oh, my God. She looks good for 50.’ Listen, I’m not trying to look 30. I’m definitely not trying to look 20. I am trying to look the best that I can,” she told Us Weekly at the time.
Though Sims doesn’t often post pictures of her children on social media, she’s the latest in a string of celebrities to twin with their mini-mes. It seems the celebrity gene pool is strong, with lookalikes appearing all over Instagram during the winter holidays.
Just this weekend, Gwyneth Paltrow and daughter Apple Martin twinned in navy pajama sets, coming on the heels of Martin wearing Paltrow’s vintage Calvin Klein dress on the red carpet.
Just before Christmas, Reese Witherspoon also shared a sweet pic with her daughter Ava Philippe, looking like the spitting image of one another.
Here’s hoping that youthful glow gets inherited, too.
