After two years, MIP London has ended and is set to be replaced by a new two-day conference taking place during the London Book Fair.
On Wednesday, RX France confirmed the launch of MIP Talks from Mar. 16-17, 2027. The event will be backdropped by the London Book Fair, one of RX’s flagship events, bringing together leading voices from across the worlds of entertainment, media and culture to explore what is changing, what is breaking through and where new opportunities are emerging.
MIP Talks will take place at London ExCel and is set to represent a “new expression of MIP in London, looking beyond traditional television and content to the wider cultural, creative, technological and commercial shifts reshaping global entertainment,” according to organizers.
The inaugural MIP Talks will be built around the editorial theme ‘From IP to Fandom — and Fandom to Global Business,’ in which experts will explore an entertainment landscape where traditional boundaries are disappearing, audiences move across platforms and experiences, and IP can come from anywhere.
Programming will be highly curated and editorially led, organizers added, spanning headline conversations, unexpected pairings, global trends and data, cultural insight and case studies from across the international entertainment business.

IP can come from anywhere, audiences don’t think in sectors and an idea can travel further and faster than ever before. MIP has always been about understanding where the entertainment business is going next. MIP Talks at The London Book Fair takes that curiosity further bringing together the people shaping what breaks through, how fandom is built and where new global businesses are emerging.”
