Georgia Toffolo has been branded ‘tone deaf and embarrassing’ after she cracked a joke about her budget holiday wardrobe.
The Made In Chelsea star, 31, is believed to have an estimated net worth of £425million, after marrying former Brewdog CEO James Watt. A successful businesswoman, she was already worth £5million on her own.
Yet in a TikTok video on Friday, Toff proved she still watches the pennies as she shared a clip gushing about the ‘amazing’ high street and joking that her latest purchase ‘didn’t break the bank’.
In the clip, Toff twirled around in a £33 pink strapless top from H&M, currently on sale for £28, as she revealed she was panicked it was too big but was able to tie it up tighter in the back to save it.
Toff gushed: ‘The high street is just amazing. I could cry, it’s gonna have to go back cos it’s too big for me, really gappy. Oh no, I can salvage it!
‘Don’t you think this looks so expensive. Like I’ve kitted myself out for my next holiday.’

Toff finished the clip by musing: ‘It’s not broken my bank, I can tell you. Wow! I think that’s really special.’
Fans were not impressed with the video, penning in the comments: ‘Anyone find this tone deaf’; ‘It’s actually one of the most embarrassing videos I’ve seen in a while’; ‘It is not breaking my bank I can tell you… High Street purchases are a choice for most of us though. where is it from’ [sic].
While Toff may have rubbed some of her followers up the wrong way with her clip, the millionaire businesswoman has previously expressed her love of bargain hunting.
Earlier this month, the fashion conscious influencer told her followers how they could become just as successful as her at finding bargains on Vinted, explaining she likes to ‘lowball’ sellers to haggle pennies off the price.
The beginning of the video – shot from her multi-million pound penthouse, showed some edited moments spliced together in which Georgia yelled: ‘I’ve changed my name from Georgia Toffolo to Georgia Watt.
‘You know some people have a weird sexual kink… getting a positive pregnancy test….
‘I have a gift and I didn’t know God gave me this gift. Like, I am the bargain hunter.
‘Until I really started taking Vinted seriously, about three months ago… My secret talent is finding the best stuff on Vinted.
‘I think there are real sharks on there. Me being one of them. There are tips and tricks that I am going to tell you, to find the good stuff. It’s unfair that I am getting all the good stuff.
‘You need to get in the shark tank and compete with me. Right. RIGHT!’ she bellowed as her face went close up to the camera.

Georgia has been refreshingly open about her wish to get pregnant with husband James Watt, saying she thought it would just happen straight away for her
Showing off some of her amazing finds, Georgia continued: ‘I have a tendency to lowball people on Vinted. It’s like my dirty secret.
‘And I was getting quite embarrassed about the whole thing. I thought there was going to be rumours flying around… banging ensemble… back to the story.
‘I thought there was going to be rumours flying around that Georgia off the tele is low-balling people on Vinted. So… I came up with an alternative plan.’
Slapping her thigh, she said: ‘So I changed my name from Georgia Toffolo to Georgia Watt, which is my husband’s surname.
‘So I thought that would give me like an extra layer of added anonymity so I could keep low-balling people.
‘And then I was having a word with myself like, is this normal behaviour? I confided in my friends. Loads of my friends do it too.
‘You give me, 50p off asking, I will buy it within an instant. It’s a confirmed deal. But if you say no, I can’t have a penny off, I didn’t want the jacket anyway… You’ve just got to know how to work the algorithm.’
Holding a chiffon scarf over her face, she said: ‘You know some people have a sexual kink… YOU WHOOOOO! I have it for empire line busts, a matching cape! This was £22.75!’
This aside, there was a heartwarming moment from Georgia in which she bravely referred to her struggle to get pregnant.
‘Nothing beats the offer accepted… I imagine it’s sort of a parallel feeling to me getting a positive pregnancy test, you know. Can’t believe I just said that.
‘Inappropriate or truthful? Think it might be on the same level of elation that I’d feel.’
Closing, she asks her followers to DM ‘Toff’s tips’ in order to receive all her tips on getting a Vinted bargain.
