Local singer Tay Kexin has become a mum for the second time.
The 38-year-old, who is a member of local band MICapella, announced the good news in an Instagram post yesterday (Aug 6): “And just like that… we are four!”
Accompanying the post is a family photo of Kexin, her photographer husband Bernard Wee, their two-year-old daughter Kira and their infant son.
They were congratulated by many local celebrities, including Desmond Tan, Dennis Chew, Felicia Chin, Romeo Tan, Sora Ma, Seow Sin Nee, Gao Meigui, Derrick Hoh and Tay Yurong.
Kexin, whose sister is local singer Tay Kewei, first revealed she is expecting her second child in an Instagram post in February, where she wrote that Kira is going to be a “big sister”, and shared an ultrasound image.
They had a gender reveal in April, where Kexin and Wee asked Kira if she preferred “blue” or “pink”. Kira cutely chose blue first, before switching to pink.
After fumbling with the letter they received from the doctor, they revealed they were expecting a boy, while Kira squealed with delight: “I’m having a brother!”
