Mia McKenna-Bruce plays a young British aristocrat-turned-sleuth when a country house prank turns deadly in the trailer for Netflix’s Seven Dials crime mystery to bow Jan. 15.

But to unmask the killer in a mansion filled with ticking clocks and suspects, amateur detective Eileen must first get round discouragement from Lady Caterham, played by Helena Bonham Carter, and Sherlock star Martin Freeman as superintendent Battle.
Lady Caterham cautions an inquisitive Eileen in the teaser that “people who go looking for trouble usually find it.” “You should leave all of this to the professionals,” Battle also tells Eileen as he dismissively shows her his office door, before adding: “You’re going to do exactly the opposite.”
“I don’t know why you’d think that,” an impish Brent responds before she follows more alarm clocks and dead bodies around the period country house in an attempt to solve the crime. Seven Dials, part of the upcoming three-part Agatha Christie series from Orchid Pictures and Netflix, also stars Edward Bluemel as Jimmy Thesinger and Nabhaan Rizwan in the role of Ronnie Devereux.
The crime mystery is penned by Broadchurch creator Chris Chibnall and executive produced by Suzanne Mackie and Chris Sussman, while Chris Sweeney is director and an executive producer alongside Chibnall and Andy Stebbing. Joanna Crow is producing.
