January is already full of surprises as Meghan Trainor and husband Daryl Sabara announced the birth of their third baby.

“Our baby girl Mikey Moon Trainor has finally made it to the world thanks to our incredible, superwoman surrogate,” Trainor, 32, wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, January 20. “We are forever grateful to all the doctors, nurses, teams who made this dream possible.”

The Grammy winner shared photos from Mikey’s delivery and life as a mom of three as she celebrated her daughter’s birthing journey. (The baby arrived on Sunday, January 18.)

“We had endless conversations with our doctors in this journey and this was the safest way for us to be able to continue growing our family,” Trainor explained of taking the surrogacy route. “We are over the moon in love with this precious girl.”

She added that their two sons are over the moon to have a little girl in their house.

“Riley and Barry have been so excited, they even got to choose her middle name. We are going to enjoy our family time now, love you all🩷🥹🎀,” Trainor gushed.

Fans and celebrities alike were quick to congratulate Trainor and Sabara on their new addition.

“My 🫀 is bursting for you all. 🫂🔋👑,” Jessie J wrote in the comments section.

Dancing With the Stars alum Scott Hoyer, replied, “CONGRATULATIONS I LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND MIKEY IS PERFECT!! 🥹🥹🥹 MARK MANIO? MANDY MOORE? MAREN MORRIS? MIKEY MOON? ICON CLUB IS GROWING.”

Michal Bublé kept is short and sweet, writing in the comments section, “❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️God bless ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”

The birth of Trainor and Sabara’s baby girl comes seven years after the couple tied the knot in December 2018. (The pair got engaged one year prior.)

The “Dear Future Husband” singer welcomed her and Sabara’s first child, son Riley, in February 2021. Their second son, Barry, was born two years later in July 2023.

While Trainor and the Spy Kids actor have been transparent through much of their relationship, they managed to keep their surrogacy journey under wraps.

The pair, however, has been making headlines in 2026 for another reason: toxic mom group drama.

On January 1, Ashley Tisdale French published an essay titled “Breaking Up With My Toxic Mom Group” for New York Magazine’s The Cut.

While the actress’ rep denied to TMZ that the women French, 40, discussed in the story were famous friends Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore or Trainor — all of whom welcomed babies in 2021 and have hung out on mom trips and baby music classes — fans weren’t convinced.

When asked about the drama, Sabara told TMZ on January 8, “No drama over here, just trying to keep the kids happy.”

The actor insisted, “I don’t really know what’s going on,” but added, “I hope she’s OK, though.”

Trainor, meanwhile, poked fun at the alleged rift between her mom group via two separate TikTok videos.

“Me finding out about the apparent mom group drama,” Trainor wrote over a January 8 video, showing her sitting at a desk and typing on a computer while her song “Still Don’t Care” played. The musician captioned the post with three tea emojis.

In a January 12 TikTok video, Trainor lip-synched to an audio clip from Stranger Things season 5 in which one character is trying to convince the others that Mr. Whatsit is evil.

“Come on, you have to believe me. Please! You have to believe me. You have to,” Trainor mouthed along to the clip. She proceeded to caption the video, “I swear I’m innocent” with a praying hands emoji.

While Moore, 41, and Duff, 38, have not publicly commented on the drama directly, a source exclusively told Us Weekly on January 14 that the moms “remaining in the group wish Ashey no ill will.”

“There was no big blowout moment so this came as a surprise to them,” the insider added, claiming that the ladies in the group “thought the friendship faded organically” with French prior to reading her story.

Trainor, for her part, has been focused on preparing for her upcoming Get In Girl Tour, which kicks off in June as well as her family.

While announcing the arrival of daughter Mikey on Tuesday, Trainor shared several photos of her little ones all cuddling together. She also shared a picture holding her baby and crying happy tears.
