“The Beauty,” which premieres tonight, Jan. 21, with three episodes on FX and Hulu, is based on Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley comic book series of the same name.
Murphy mainstay Evan Peters leads a cast that also includes Ashton Kutcher, Anthony Ramos, Jeremy Pope, and Rebecca Hall.
The series follows an FBI investigation into deaths related to “the Beauty,” a sexually transmitted treatment that grants its users physical attractiveness. As public panic related to the epidemic escalates, the FBI’s investigation and competing interests converge on the forces behind the drug and the epidemic it sparks.
