You might call it a royal obsession.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attended the Sundance Film Festival earlier this week for the premiere of “Cookie Queens,” a documentary they executive-produced about Girl Scouts who strive to be top cookie sellers.
The Duchess of Sussex spoke at the event, and we couldn’t help but notice that her cashmere sweater — Brochu Walker’s Everyday Cashmere Bright Crew — looked familiar.
In fact, the As Ever founder has been spotted in the cozy-chic style at least nine times.
Available in seven colors and sizes XS-L, the timeless piece is sure to stay in your wardrobe for years. (Markle wore the Bisque Melange color to Sundance, pairing it with black Veronica Beard Beverly Skinny-Flare Jeans.)
The ultra-soft cashmere is a favorite for the duchess; she’s worn it for everything from an LA Dodgers game to a Mother’s Day Instagram snap, making the quality style staple a worthy investment.
The brand’s creative director, Karine Dubner, told us earlier this month that Markle “found the brand on her own” and that they’ve been “genuinely honored to see her return to Brochu Walker time after time.”
While Markle has an extensive Brochu Walker collection, also including the Joseph Top and Cassis Sunglasses, she’s not the only stylish star wearing the brand on repeat.
Julia Roberts and Martha Stewart both have worn the label, including variations of the layered-look sweaters, which give the appearance of a collared shirt underneath.
The “With Love, Meghan” host also wore the label’s chic, vegan leather Esme Skirt to the Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit in October, pairing it with heels and a button-down blouse for a modern, monochromatic look.
Meanwhile Oprah’s a fan of the Layered V-Neck, a one-and-done dressing hack that even made her coveted “Favorite Things” list in 2024.
Dubner told us that “Celebrities live fast-moving lives, and they need clothes that look polished without feeling overdone,” which is relatable for anyone who’s got their hands full.
For the ultimate capsule-collection piece that you’ll reach for again and again, don’t hesitate to reach for a royal-approved style.
