Hacks co-creator and actor Paul W. Downs joined his co-star Meg Stalter in the perfect parody to kick off the 2026 awards season.

Downs and Stalter hit the 2026 Critics Choice Awards red carpet in a head-to-toe replica of Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner’s matching Marty Supreme premiere outfits. The bright orange looks, an homage to the ping-pong film, were the talk of the town after the film’s Los Angeles premiere.

The Hacks stars joked that they’ve just been so busy, they had to be creative when it came to their outfits. “We’ve been shooting season five of Hacks and haven’t had a lot of time to shop or pull, so we just borrowed from friends,” Downs told The Hollywood Reporter on the Critics Choice carpet.

“My really close friend — I’m not going to name any names — but she let me borrow this dress. Fits like a glove,” Stalter said, joking that Jenner gave her the look herself. Downs added, “It did fit really well. That was the nice thing, when you have friends who are the same size, it makes life easier.”

It’s unclear if the couple have seen Downs and Stalter’s homage because Chalamet and Jenner skipped the CCA carpet, arriving well into the show. Unlike their Marty Supreme premiere outfits, the couple opted for more mellow looks for Sunday’s show.
