Rupali Ganguly starrer Anupamaa is in the news. The show has always been at the top of the TRP charts. But since the leap has taken place, the numbers have fallen. We saw new characters and new story being introduced. Shivam Khajuria and Alisha Parveen entered as the lead jodi. But, Alisha was replaced overnight by Adrija Roy. The story of Prem and Rahi began and we saw how Anu’s life got involved with her daughter now. Prem has never revealed identity to Anu or Rahi. However, we saw how Anu accepts him as her sarthi and also as a perfect partner for his daughter, Rahi.
In the recent episodes of Anupamaa, we saw the Kothari family entering. Prem is their son and they are a very arrogant bunch of people. Mazher Sayed has entered the show as Anil Kothari who is Parag Kothari’s brother. He spoke to India Forums and said that the show is helping him get more popularity.

He shared is not popular or active on social media but after mentioning that he is in the TV serial he is getting more views. He is excited for this journey and hopes he gives a lot to this show. He further spoke about the pressure of joining the top show and working with Rajan Shahi.
He said that he does not feel the pressure as he has worked with Directors Kut Productions before. He said that Rajan Shahi is a great producer and director who understands the storyline and knows how to direct.
He added, “The creatives are amazing, and every character has a proper arc and background. The directors, I have worked with Romesh before, but they all are wonderful, and they make me feel comfortable. After 25 years in the industry, I don’t feel any pressure. I’m just happy to be part of this.”
