Maya Jama has revealed the collection of designer bags worth at least £100,000 in her luxury closet – but said that she barely uses them.

The Love Island host, 30, has made her millions over the years through fashion and beauty campaigns and took to Instagram to share a glimpse into her own collection.

From Hermes and Chanel to Louis Vuitton, Maya shared snaps of the ‘bag shelves’ in her home on Wednesday – with the collection worth an estimated total of over £100,000.

However her collection included three Hermes Birkin Bags – which can range in price from anywhere from £20,000 to £200,000 – so the real total cost could be much more.

‘Still a scatty Bristolian at heart tho,’ Maya captioned another snap, after showing fans her extortionate collection of designer goods.

In her first snap, Maya showed shelves containing her three Birkin bags – thought to cost around £30,000 each.

Also on display were two Chanel double flap bags, one with silver detailing and another with gold. These are estimated at £6,750 and £6,950 respectively.

Completing the luxury shelf was a denim and suede Yves Saint Laurent Puffer bag worth £2,280.

Maya moved onto another shelf for her second snap as she revealed a Prada Mini Saffiano Leather Shoulder Bag, which typically goes for £1,800. There was another orange Ostrich bag seemingly from Dumelacrafts (£700).

In Maya’s final bag shelf there was another collection of luxury bags, including a Louis Vuitton Soul Trunk Cross-Body Bag worth almost £3,000.

Making up the shelf were two Dolce&Gabbana Small Sicily Bag (£1,985 each), a couple of Alexander Wang crystal embellished clutches (around £700 each), an Yves Saint Laurent Black Small Sunset Velvet Shoulder Bag (£1,500) and a Marni Trunkaroo leather backpack (£1,400).

Despite the huge costs of the stunning accessories, Maya said in one of her snaps that she wears ‘the same bag 99% per cent of the time’.

On Tuesday, Maya stunned as she attended the Alberta Ferretti show at Milan Fashion Week – after firmly making her mark in the fashion world.

The Love Island host, 30, has made her millions over the years through fashion and beauty campaigns and took to Instagram to share a glimpse into her own collection

Last summer, it was revealed that Maya had been unveiled as the new face of luxury fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana.

As the focus of its new autumn/winter 2023 campaign, Maya stunned in series of sizzling looks including a red latex coat and diamond encrusted D&G sunglasses as well as a black see-through dress.

The presenter also smouldered in an auburn wig as she pouted for the camera wearing a satin red gown costing £2,550.

Believed to be worth thousands, the Dolce & Gabbana deal catapulted the Bristol-born beauty to the forefront of fashion.

Not only was she Vogue’s August cover star but Maya mingled with the likes of Kim Kardashian, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Dame Helen Mirren at the brand’s decadent unveiling of their latest Alta Moda collection in Puglia last month, posing for selfies with Dolce himself.

Though, not a campaign, following on from her epic new Dolce & Gabbana campaign, Maya landed the August front cover of British Vogue.

The star took to Instagram to share a series of snaps from her photoshoot for the iconic magazine, with Maya admitting that she ‘burst into tears’ when she got the call.

Though, not a campaign, following on from her epic new Dolce & Gabbana campaign, Maya landed the August front cover of British Vogue

In a heartfelt post, she penned: ‘Honestly. An absolute madness. We shot this months ago & it still hasn’t sunk in. The cover of Vogue.. little me on my own shot by the greatest to ever do it @stevenmeiselofficial.

‘I burst into tears as soon as I got the call, this was a life dream of mine that I wasn’t sure would ever even happen because it just has never happened, the only other ‘tv host’ (if you can even call her that) that I’ve ever seen on a vogue cover is Oprah which makes it even more wild & coming from where I come from it is just unheard of.’

In January of this year she returned to Vogue as part of an iconic cover to mark Edward Enninful’s departure – where she posed with 39 other cover stars.

Earlier that year it was announced that Maya had taken over from Kate Moss as the global brand ambassador for Rimmel London.

The presenter signed a multi-million pound deal to replace the 49-year-old supermodel, who had been the role for almost 20 years.

Showing off her model looks, Maya posed for a stunning photoshoot to debut her partnership with the brand earlier this spring.

Of joining the brand, she said: ‘I grew up with this brand and have dreamed about saying the iconic ‘London look’ line on tv one day and now it’s happening I don’t even have the words, following in the footsteps of Kate Moss, Adwoa and more doesn’t even make sense in my mind but I am honoured.

In February last year, Maya put on a racy display wearing black underwear for her brand new fashion campaign with Self Portrait

’16-year-old me who moved to London from Bristol with a bag of dreams would not have believed you if you said 12 years later I would be a part of such a legendary London staple.

‘London is my home and now you can catch me living the London Look’.

The star has also had campaigns with Self Portrait, Adidas Swim, JD Sports, Gordon’s Gin and Maybelline.

As well as this, Maya released two sell-out collections with PrettyLittleThing and modelled for big brands such as Steve Madden. She also released her own skincare line, MIJ Masks, in 2020.
