Matt Damon’s candid reaction to a heartwarming moment in Disneyland has gone viral.

The actor was spotted standing in the background of park guest Loryn Powell’s Instagram video of her young daughter meeting Goofy. Damon — lowkey in a baseball cap, tan pants and a button-up shirt — didn’t bring attention to himself as he witnessed the adorable moment a short distance away and smiled, clearly charmed by the interaction.

In the video, the little girl reaches her arm out to Goofy, who’s dressed in a chef costume. As they share a hug, her dad crouches down and also speaks to her.

Powell wrote on top of the video, “POV you’re watching your husband and daughter meet Goofy for the first time but don’t realize Matt Damon is also watching your husband and daughter meet Goofy for the first time.”

She then joked in the caption of the video, “When your daughter is more starstruck by Goofy than Matt Damon 😆.”

Powell spoke to The California Post about the now viral video.

“As you can tell we love dressing up for a good theme so taking our 2.5 year old daughter to Disneyland for her first time was magical,” Powell told the outlet.

“Even if Matt Damon hadn’t been there,” she added.

Damon, 55, is also a girl dad. He shares four daughters with his wife, Luciana Barrosso — Alexia, 27 (whom Barroso welcomed with her ex-husband, Arbello), Isabella, 20, Gia, 18, and Stella, 15.

The entire family celebrated Gia’s 18th birthday Thursday at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, and happily posed for pics. The “Odyssey” star, his wife, and their daughters all wore matching black shirts reading, “Birthday Crew.”

It’s unclear if Powell’s video was taken on the same day as the Damon family’s Disneyland visit.

Last month, the Oscar-wining actor said that sharing a meal together every night as a family was the one thing he and his wife insist on.

“We have family dinner every night, and that’s non-negotiable, and it’s always been that way,” he told People.

He also admitted that his family’s biggest “challenge” is getting off their phones, which is something else they are actively “trying to be mindful of.”
