A masked man allegedly threatened ex-Prince Andrew near his new home in eastern England.

On Wednesday evening, the former Duke of York was walking his dogs outside the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk when a man wearing a ski mask approached him, allegedly began shouting at him and “behaving in an intimidating manner,” according to the Telegraph.

Andrew and a member of his private security detail quickly got into their car and sped away.

The Norfolk Constabulary was alerted and they arrested a suspect and took him in for questioning.

“Officers attended, and the man was arrested on suspicion of a public order offense and possession of an offensive weapon,” the police force said. “He was taken to King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre … and remains in custody.”

The Telegraph reported that Andrew, 66, “was left shaken” by the incident. He and his security officer were asked to provide a statement to the police.

Andrew relocated to Sandringham Estate earlier this year after being exiled from the Royal Lodge in Windsor.

Andrew was arrested on Feb. 19 — his 66th birthday — on suspicion of misconduct in public office for allegedly forwarding confidential trade documents to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

If convicted, the former royal — who denied all accusations against him — could face life in prison.

Andrew was stripped of his royal titles last October due to his ties to pedophile Epstein.

In 2021, Virginia Giuffre sued Andrew for sexual assault, claiming he allegedly raped her when she was a teenager as part of Epstein’s sex trafficking ring.

She and the former duke, who denied any wrongdoing, settled the case out of court the following year.

Giuffre died by suicide in April 2025. She was 41.
