The Row might sell sneakers for four figures, but brand co-founder Mary-Kate Olsen still can’t help but reach for her classic Adidas Sambaes, which retail for a fraction of the price.
Though nearly identical to the timeless Adidas Samba, the Sambae feature a slightly elevated (1.25-inch) platform sole for a boost of height; Olsen’s owned her black-and-white pair for years.
And the 39-year-old fashion icon made a rare appearance in her beloved kicks this week, stepping out alongside art dealer Vito Schnabel in a long black velvet coat, dark sunglasses and embroidered scarf from Yaser Shaw, a brown crocodile bag dangling from the crook of her arm.
Combining elements of The Row’s iconic Margaux and Lady styles, Olsen’s bowler bag is likely a one-of-a-kind sample that was never produced.
She was spotted carrying the same purse back in 2022 — styled with her same Sambaes, of course.
