Married At First Sight bride Carina Mirabile has responded to rumours she is dating a high-profile NFL player, following her split from her TV ex-husband Paul Antoine last year.
The 31-year-old influencer told Daily Mail that rumours about her being involved with a famous US footballer were unfounded and she was still looking for Mr Right.
‘I am a free bird… I love meeting people. The whole amazingness and positive aspect of social media is that it allows you to meet people from all around the world. I have friends in America, but I am still very much single,’ Carina told Daily Mail.
Carina said she hoped to meet someone special later this year and outlined what an eligible suitor could do to stand out.
‘This year is definitely my year for meeting my person. The biggest thing for me would have to be kindness, they must radiate really nice energy, gentleness and positivity,’ she explained.
‘I meet so many people and the most important thing to me is the energy they give. I feel like I really gravitate towards a beautiful soul, because the world can be cruel in so many ways.

‘They have to be a gentleman, chivalry is not dead. I am at the age where I want something serious, so if a male wants something serious, then come my way!’
Carina also revealed if she was still in touch with her MAFS co-stars from last year – including her ex-husband Paul Antoine, who she split with in March last year after weeks of red flags, disappointment and betrayal.
‘Now that time has passed I am one to forgive and forget… never hold grudges. I still love them from afar but it doesn’t mean I have to spend my time and energy on them,’ she said.
‘I am very close with Rhi Disljenkovic, with Jamie Marinos – we had a really good chat when MAFS was airing, it was good!’
However, Carina said while she wished her TV ex-husband all the best, she was no longer in contact with him.
‘No! I unfollowed him on everything. I wish him all the best and I hope that he finds the person for him, but no, I don’t speak to him at all,’ she said.
Elsewhere Carina has been working for her family business, Beyond Tools, a hardware store, admitting it keeps her grounded after achieving reality TV fame.
‘It’s honestly the best thing ever. I love talking to people, meeting people… It’s just lots of fun. I do the occasional shift, plus content creation for the brand – it’s just a lot of fun,’ she said.

‘I think that is the most gracious thing we can do, with what we have gone through. I think MAFS contestants are crazy if they think after going on the show they will be able to quit their job… they will be in financial debt!’
The digital marketing specialist admitted that while she is done with dating shows, she would be open to appearing on a different type of reality TV series – and admitted she would love to do I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia.
‘Never say no, but absolutely not a dating show. I feel like I have another side of myself to show Australia, they have only seen a tiny glimpse of me. I’m up for a challenge, I love problem-solving and am very competitive!’ she said.
Since leaving the show, Carina has leaned into her background in communications, fashion, and media to carve out her own path.
Carina and Paul’s relationship was marked by highs and lows, culminating in a shocking door-punching incident, which aired on the Channel Nine show.
During the emotionally charged episode, Paul sensationally punched a door in the couple’s shared apartment after Carina made what she thought was an offhand comment about a dalliance with US rapper Quavo.
The incident set the couple down a rocky relationship road, as well as shocking viewers, with the couple unable to rebuild their relationship and announcing their split shortly after.
