Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird’s “hardcore” OnlyFans content has cost her 8-year-old daughter a spot at a private school in Georgia.
In a heated Facebook post, shared Thursday, the reality star ranted about Ella Grace being rejected from an institution because of her X-rated content.
Efird, 26, explained that she was trying to transfer Ella out of her current school and into a private one, as she needs a more challenging curriculum. She claimed she had already paid the required fees, spoke to admissions multiple times and even visited the school in person.
That’s why she was shocked when she was later pulled into a meeting — and allegedly told that her social media activity “does not align” with their school.
Efird clarified, however, that she was personally upset over how the school allegedly handled the situation — having her continue with the admissions process without once being told her social media was an issue — and not over the fact that they were rejecting her because of her X-rated content.
“I believe Ella deserved better than to be sitting outside in the front office, completely unaware that she was essentially being rejected from a school she was so excited to attend because of her mother’s social media presence,” she wrote. “At the very least, the situation could have been handled with more transparency and consideration.”
Efird revealed that Ella will now be homeschooled.
“We’ve found a homeschool teacher who’s willing to provide the higher criteria Ella needs and now she will enjoy the comfort of not being put into a judgmental system,’ she told the Daily Mail.
On Monday, the mother of four also shared a lengthy Facebook post defending how she makes money, noting that she’s been working since she was 11 years old.
“I’d rather explain to my children how I made money than explain why I was never there because I was always working,” she wrote.
“People love to talk about what certain ways of making money might cost your children someday, but nobody talks enough about what constantly struggling costs them right now.”
She also insisted that kids should not be on adult social media, and it wasn’t her responsibility if they are.
“Adults are allowed to have adult lives. Mothers are allowed to be human beings outside of motherhood,” she explained.
“And I refuse to accept the idea that women should spend their entire lives making decisions based on the possibility that someday another child might find something online and bully their kid over it.”
Efird appeared on “The TMZ Podcast” Thursday and revealed she recently pulled in between $14,000 and $15,000 in a single day for her OnlyFans content.
She credited the support of her mom, June “Mama June” Shannon, and sister Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson for helping make her success on OnlyFans possible.
“My family is super supportive,” she said. “I know that my mama’s goal is to make sure, obviously, that I make the amount of money that I need to make on exactly what I’m selling.”
She previously spoke to TMZ about her decision to do more hardcore content five months after joining OnlyFans. The outlet reported that her raunchy content is on sale for between $100 and $150.
“I really started doing hardcore because, truthfully, it’s another revenue of money and so many options to do and give,” she said.
But Mama June was far less supportive in her own interview with TMZ earlier this month when asked about her daughter’s OnlyFans.
“All money ain’t good money,” she replied.
