The Material Girl knows a major piece of jewelry when she sees it.
Madonna hosted her annual Oscars afterparty with manager Guy Oseary after Sunday’s awards show — and while paper eyes rained from the ceiling at the exclusive event, it was the 79.29-carat aquamarine hanging around the superstar’s neck that caught our eye.
Dubbed the “Looking Glass Necklace,” the “one-of-a-kind” design also features 38 diamonds surrounding the incredible center stone and dotting the 18-karat gold chain. It’s priced at $32,000.
The luxury jewelry brand posted pictures of Madonna wearing the piece on Instagram, and fans immediately fell in love with it.
“One of my favs! This is perfection,” one user wrote in the comment section. “Spectacular,” another added.
Madonna paired the extra-large gemstone with an Ann Demeulemeester look complete with a black lace bustier, silk maxi skirt and baby pink rope belt.
Underneath, the pop star rocked black fishnet tights and lace-up boots.
The necklace wasn’t the only over-the-top accessory Madonna showed off at the star-studded party.
The singer carried around a custom Gucci bag featuring an embroidered dragon on one side and the title of her hit song, “Like a Virgin,” on the other.
Demi Moore, Mikey Madison, Adrien Brody, Zoe Saldaña, Mick Jagger and Olivia Wilde were among the many stars at Madonna’s exclusive afterparty, which was presented by Gucci and Capital One.
