Lucy Mecklenburgh broke down in tears as she took to TikTok to document ‘one of the most emotional week of her life’ on Monday.

The reality star, 33, was overcome with emotion as she, fiancé Ryan Thomas, 40, and their kids packed up their ‘memory filled’ family home ahead of their move to a new property in Manchester.

Lucy, who shares son Roman, four, and two-year-old daughter Lilah with the ex Corrie actor, explained she’d bought the house as a single woman 11-years ago, but now the family needed more space.

As photos were taken down from the walls of her daughter’s bedroom and furniture packed away, the former TOWIE star sobbed saying she never expected the process to be such an emotional one.

She said: ‘One of the most emotional weeks of my life, I really didn’t expect to get so emotional but I moved out of my home of 11-years this week. That’s how we spent out half term, actually the kids had the best time’.

‘We had mixed emotions because we outgrew this house so long ago, we’ve made the big move to Manchester and we’re really happy. But there are so many memories I have hung onto in this house’.

‘I went from being single, my first big renovation project, it was my first real home since moving out of my parents I guess. I brought my babies back from hospital here and honestly there’s something about that, that I could never get rid of this house,’.

Lucy continued: ‘So we just made it work over the years, but it definitely wasn’t big enough, we didn’t have enough bedrooms, enough storage’.

She went on to say that despite her tears the family had definitely made the right decision and it was ‘time to go’.

Before adding: ‘Seeing the rooms empty, is just the bit that made me cry’.

It comes after Ryan’s eldest daughter Scarlett, 16, posed alongside her mum Corrie star Tna O’Brien for a stunning social media snap last week, showcasing the striking resemblance between the mother-daughter duo.

Scarlett, who was pouting for the camera, snapped the mirror selfie ahead of what looked like a night out out together in the undisclosed location.

Tina welcomed her daughter – who stars in Waterloo Road – with her ex and Corrie alum Ryan Thomas as the duo dated for six years until 2009.

Earlier in October of last year, Ryan pulled out all the stops for his daughter Scarlett’s 16th birthday but Tina was notably absent.

The soap stars have had a strained relationship since Ryan claimed Tina damaged his Range Rover with a baseball bat in 2022.

And despite their daughter’s milestone birthday, the pair reportedly opted for separate celebrations.

A source told The Sun at the time: ‘Scarlett had her party at Barca Bar in Manchester last night.

‘Her dad Ryan was there keeping an eye on things, but mum Tina was nowhere to be seen.

‘Ryan paid for and organised it, but because things are still tense between them Tina gave it a miss – nobody wanted a showdown.’

However another insider shared that Tina had hoped to make an appearance but was held up due to a long day on the Corrie set, where she plays Sarah Platt.

Ryan arranged a party bus for Scarlett and her friends, taking them to Manchester’s Barca Bar, where he admitted his daughter had banned him from joining the event, calling him ‘too embarrassing.’

Although he respected her request, Ryan didn’t let go entirely, recruiting a friend to keep an eye on the group.

‘Any other dads have anxiety at their daughter’s 16th birthday when they’re not allowed in?’ he joked, watching from outside the venue.

‘I’m keeping an eye on what’s going on. There’s a group of lads there… Hmm, we’ll see.’

The former couple starred on the cobbles when Ryan played Jason Grimshaw and they were romantically linked both on and off screen.

As well as being a father to Scarlett, who currently stars in ITV drama Waterloo Road, Tina, who still plays Sarah Platt, also has a son, Beau, 10, with husband Adam Crofts.
