Kyle Cooke was shockingly photographed shotgunning a Truly Hard Seltzer — despite owning rival beverage company Loverboy and having past drama with “Summer House” alum Hannah Berner over her participating in an ad for Truly.
Cooke, 43, was snapped holding a Truly drink on its side while wearing a black T-shirt and a backwards baseball cap in pictures that surfaced on social media. The pictures claim that he was out partying at 5:35 a.m.
While it’s unclear where the photos originated from, Cooke’s wife, Amanda Batula, has since commented that the photos are not from the night she claims he slept at a fan’s house until 6:30 a.m.
Reps for Cooke and Berner didn’t immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Cooke’s journey to launching his Loverboy beverage company has been documented throughout “Summer House.”
He and Batula had a falling out with Berner in Season 5 of the Bravo show, and Berner — who was Batula’s once-best friend — later claimed doing a Truly ad led to her getting fired from “Summer House” in 2021.
“The truth is beef started ’cause I did an ad for Truly [Hard] Seltzer, and I didn’t know that I, like, wasn’t allowed to,” she shared on the “BFFs” podcast in July 2024.
But she insisted that “Bravo didn’t fire” her, claiming that “some people on the cast got annoyed at [her], and then it kind of snowballed.”
“I think some of these shows become a lot of egos,” she continued. “And it’s like, ‘It’s my show. It’s my drink. You can’t do that.’ And there’s no rules, and it just becomes fighting over egos and screen time, and it’s not that fun after doing it for too many seasons.”
Cooke later denied Berner’s claim in an interview with Page Six.
“I have nothing to do with casting,” Cooke told us.
“I’m flattered anyone thinks I could have that kind of pull, but clearly, I don’t have any control over what Bravo does,” he continued.
On Tuesday, Cooke denied his wife’s claim that he slept at a fan’s apartment, which she made in the Season 10 trailer for “Summer House.”
“There’s no excuse for staying out as late as I did, but I want to be clear that I did not sleep at a fan’s apartment,” he told People in a statement.
“I was at an event that Amanda chose not to attend, which moved to a bar and then to an after-party,” he continued. “I don’t use anything to keep myself wired, so I think I ended up falling asleep on a couch, and suddenly it was almost 6 a.m.”
“Do I regret the situation? Absolutely,” he added. “But that’s the truth and full extent of what happened.”
