Lori Loughlin made a shocking cameo on “When Calls the Heart” for the Season 13 finale seven years after being written off the show.

During Sunday night’s episode of the Hallmark series, Abigail Stanton (Loughlin) returns to Hope Valley after Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) and Nathan’s (Kevin McGarry) engagement.

A car driving down the main streets pulls over in front of the Visitor’s Center, and out steps Abigail, who smiles, looks around and says, “It’s good to be home.”

Louglin, 61, starred on “When Calls the Heart” from its 2014 debut until 2019, when she was written out of the show following the college admissions scandal.

The “Full House” alum went to jail for two months for conspiring to pay a half-million-dollar bribe to get her daughters into the University of Southern California as fake rowing recruits.

In December, news broke that Loughlin was returning to “When Calls the Heart” for Season 14, set to premiere in 2027. She will appear in six of the 12 episodes.

“Since the series’ debut in 2014, the character of Abigail Stanton was a fan favorite and beloved by the Hearties,” Hallmark Media’s head of programming Michelle Vicary told People in a statement.

“At its core the Hallmark brand is about hope, positivity and connection, which is also the central theme of When Calls the Heart. We felt that season 14 was the right time to continue Abigail’s story with her return to this beloved series.”

Last Wednesday, Loughlin marked her return to the show by attending the “When Calls the Heart” and “Hope Valley: 1874” celebration at  The Sun Rose Hotel in West Hollywood.

She stunned in a white strapless gown with silver heels and matching clutch.

One week earlier, she showed off her youthful appearance at the Women’s Cancer Research Fund’s “Unforgettable Evening” gala on March 11.

Loughlin has only acted in a few projects over the last few years, including Prime Video’s cop drama “On Call,” “Blue Bloods,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and the Christmas rom-com “Fall into Winter.”

In October 2025, she split from her husband of nearly 28 years, Mossimo Giannulli.

A source told Us Weekly in January that the exes, who share daughters Olivia Jade, 26, and Isabella, 27, were never able to repair their marriage after the admissions scandal.

“The school scandal was a turning point, and they never really connected or recovered their relationship after that,” the source said.

Giannulli, 62, served a five-month prison sentence for his role in the scandal.
