Lindsay Lohan and her son Luai are kicking off 2026 by enjoying the winter weather.
Lohan shared a rare photo via Instagram on Saturday, January 3, of herself and Luai bundled up in the snow. Lohan, 39, could be seen wearing a black puffer coat while holding Luai’s hand. Though the Mean Girls star put a blue heart emoji over her 2-year-old’s face, his own cute truck-adorned puffer coat and boots were featured in the snap.
Us Weekly confirmed Lohan had given birth to her first baby with husband Bader Shammas in July 2023.
“I’ll just sit here and talk about him,” Lohan exclusively told Us in November 2024 of life as a boy mom. “He runs fast now. And, like, knows his food and will [breathe heavily] if it’s rice or pasta.”
She also opened up about how the family of three were spending the 2024 holiday season. “[Holiday movies have] always been sentimental to me, but now they’re even more special and more sentimental because I get to share it with my son and everything is new through his eyes,” Lohan told Us, a reference to 2024’s Our Little Secret. “Everything’s like the first time. So, it’s so beautiful. I get really mushy about it.”
In March 2024, a source close to the actress told Us that more babies are likely in her future.
“Lindsay wants four kids,” the source explained at the time. “She’s working a lot, so it’s just a matter of timing. They’ll have [another baby] in the next year or two.”
Shammas and Lohan wed in April 2022 after dating for two years. “[Marriage] is great, it’s amazing,” she said on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in November 2022. “I met my person. You never know if you’re going to find that in life and he’s an amazing man and I love him. We’re a great team.”
The pair officially debuted their relationship in November 2021, but Lohan previously acknowledged her then-boyfriend in a since-deleted post shared on Instagram in February 2020 after attending a festival in Dubai with her sister, Ali. “@aliana lovely night with sister and my boyfriend bader❤️” Lindsay wrote via Instagram at the time.
Lohan’s mother Dina opened up to Us about the relationship two months later in April.

“Lindsay is dating a wonderful guy right now,” Dina Lohan exclusively told Us of her daughter’s new man. “But that’s neither here nor there. When she’s ready to talk about her personal life, [she will].”
The couple largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight, and many fans were surprised when Lohan revealed the pair were engaged. “My love. My life. My family. My future. @bader.shammas #love 💍,” Lohan captioned an Instagram gallery on November 28, 2024.
“I’m not crying, you’re crying,” the actress’ brother, Dakota Lohan, wrote via Instagram Story at the time while resharing his sister’s post.
Lindsay was previously engaged to Egor Tarabasov before the pair broke up in 2016. She moved to Dubai several years later.
“I felt so relieved when I moved everything over from London to Dubai and I saw everything in one place,” she recalled to W magazine in February 2018. “Now I don’t have to open suitcases and live out of hotels and bags. Everything is where it should be. It’s a cleansing of your head, which is what I needed, and it took me a while to do it. … I would love to own a place in New York, and that’s something I will look into in the future, but right now I’m okay with where I live.”
