Lauren Sánchez has never been afraid of a fashion splurge.
And on Wednesday, she stepped out in a head-to-toe designer look worth more than $30,000 for a night on the town with pal Brooks Nader at LA restaurant Alba.
The 55-year-old author and erstwhile astronaut wore a sheer lace top layered beneath a blue double-breasted Schiaparelli coat that — while no longer available — originally retailed for around $10,200.
Though the style might look conservative at first glance, it’s finished with eight gleaming gold buttons crafted to look like nipples.
Sánchez accessorized with black pointed-toe pumps and Prada sunglasses ($585) — but the real showstopper was the crystal-covered Chanel sphere bag dangling from her hand, a rare collector’s item from the fashion house’s 2025 Métiers d’Art collection.
While no longer available, the minaudière reportedly retailed for $20,900, per Reddit, and is currently listed at $39,600 on resale site The Luxury Closet.
Nader’s look, while not quite as exorbitantly priced, was equally eye-catching.
The 28-year-old Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model opted for a sheer black chiffon bubble dress with an ultra-short hemline, which she styled sans bra.
Nader finished her night-out ‘fit with sheer black tights and classic Christian Louboutin pumps, a bright red clutch in one hand.
A source exclusively told Page Six Style on Thursday that the pair were “enjoying cocktails” and “having a girls’ night ahead of the holidays” at Alba.
The last time paparazzi caught the duo out together was back in July, when they dined at Lapérouse in Paris. For that occasion, Nader wore a similarly see-through black bow-neck top teamed with capri-length leggings, while Sánchez was red-hot in a scarlet leather Versace dress.
The pair have been friends since at least 2024, and they’ve been spotted spending time together in New York City, Los Angeles and on a yacht in Italy — all over the course of last summer, no less.
Nader was also one of the many guests at Sánchez’s wedding to Jeff Bezos this summer; she shared the experience on Instagram, writing, “Most magical weekend celebrating my favorite couple!! @laurensanchezbezos @jeffbezos ❤️ 🇮🇹”
