Lady Gaga has been romancing her third fiancé Michael Polansky as far back as 2019 when they first met at a charity event, but he’s never spoken publicly about her or their relationship until now.
‘Accepting that you won’t have the privacy others might have was the hardest part. But Stefani’s comfort with it and patience with me has been amazing,’ the 41-year-old venture capitalist said, using Gaga’s birth name, in her ELLE cover story on Tuesday.
‘Our relationship is probably a lot like everyone else’s. We just have to figure out how to do some of it in public. That makes it even more important for us to have strong friendships and close family relationships. We find normalcy where we can.’
Michael said one of the most incredible parts of this chapter in his life is how he gets to live with and coexist alongside someone making art and being creative in ways that very few people get to experience.
‘I think of myself as really lucky to have been there for it,’ Polansky – who proposed on April 1 after a rock-climbing excursion – gushed.
The 38-year-old pop diva said when they first met, the Outer Biosciences co-founder used to say: ‘You are a special human being when the cameras aren’t on you. And I get to see that all the time.’

The Harvard University grad has brought out an eerily wholesome side to the Disease singer, who now gushes about going on ‘three-person dates’ with his mother Ellen, who lives near them.
