It’s perfect for a love song.
Lady Gaga opened up about her first engagement ring from fiancé Michael Polansky before he proposed with a $2 million diamond ring.
“He got me two rings and one of them was the blade of grass and that’s the first one he proposed with,” the “Poker Face” singer shared on Tuesday’s episode of the “Howard Stern Show.”
“I love them both,” she said about the sentimental jewelry — which features a literal piece of greenery set in resin — and the enormous sparkler. “But the blade of grass, you can’t replace something that has a meaning like that.”
Gaga, 38, recently gushed over the conversation she had with Polansky, 41, before he got down on one knee on April 1, 2024.
“He said to me, ‘If I ever proposed to you, how do I do that?’” she recalled during an interview with E! News earlier this month.
“And I said, ‘Just get a blade of grass from the backyard and wrap it around my finger.’ And he did. He did that when he proposed.”
The “Bad Romance” singer wears a band with a green blade of grass right above her colossal diamond ring.
She also wrote a song inspired by her proposal, appropriately titled “Blade of Grass,” which is part of her recently released album, “Mayhem.”
Lyrics to the sweet song’s chorus include, “Come on and wrap that blade of grass / Around my finger like a cast … I’ve been so lonely in this field / Fighting a battle with no shield / Come on and wrap that blade of grass / And we’ll make it last.”
Gaga previously kept the details of her romance with Polansky under wraps and shocked fans when she arrived with the massive sparkler at the 2024 Venice Film Festival.
She didn’t shy away from hiding the rock, as she and the businessman packed on the PDA.
A jewelry expert told Page Six Style that the pop star’s oval-cut diamond appears to be between 10 and 20 carats and can be valued between $500,000 and $2 million.
Gaga, however, refused to detail her forthcoming wedding plans but instead teased that she and Polansky have considered going to the courthouse and ordering Chinese food afterward.
“Knowing me, also, it could become like a circus with unicorns,” she said on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” in October.
Polansky and the Grammy winner met at an event in 2019 and were spotted canoodling on New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas that same year.
During an appearance on “Good Morning America, Gaga admitted she didn’t hesitate to ask Polansky about “marriage and kids” on their first date to ensure they were on the same page.
