Kylie Jenner is remembering her late hairstylist, Jesus Guerrero, who died “suddenly and unexpectedly” at the age of 34.
The billionaire beauty mogul, 27, took to Instagram Tuesday to mourn and honor Guerrero, with whom she had a close relationship for several years.
“Jesus was more than my friend – he was a light in my life, a source of laughter, comfort, love, and unwavering support,” she captioned a slideshow of the two over the years. “I don’t know how I would have made it through the last almost decade without him by my side. He had a way of making even the heaviest days feel lighter.”
Jenner thanked Guerrero for “always being there” for her and “lifting [her] up” over the years.
“The pain of losing you is just unbearable and i don’t know how to move forward without you but I know great grief is born only of great love,” she continued. “and I loved you so much. You were the best person, with a talent that was unmatched. a true artist. You inspired so many, and you always will.”
Jenner added, “Your words, your laughter, your kindness, your beautiful spirit will live in my heart forever. I’ll cherish all our moments together. every laugh and hug. I wish I could hug you again. I laid in your bed the way you used to lay in mine, talking for hours. I would give anything for one more deep talk. I’m going to miss you so much. more than any words can say. 222 my angel.”
Guerrero’s younger sister, Gris Guerrero, announced his passing via GoFundMe.
“It is with a heavy heart that we let the world know that Jesus Guerrero has gone to heaven,” Gris penned. “He is a son, a brother, an uncle, an artist, a friend, and so much more.”
Gris explained that Jesus — who was “born and raised in Houston, TX to immigrant parents” — “learned how to work hard and dreamt of taking his skills to the top.”
She described his death as “very” sudden and unexpected.
“Currently, his family is taking care of his personal belongings and accommodations to bring him home to Houston,” she shared. “We hope that you find it in your heart to help in any way and/or share this GoFundMe.”
Jesus lived in Los Angeles, where he worked with celebrities including Jennifer Lopez. The two were seemingly together in Abu Dhabi in the days leading up to his death.
TMZ reported that Jenner is working with Jesus’ family to transport his body back home and cover the funeral costs.
Gris did not reveal Jesus’ cause of death; however, his loved ones wrote in part atop an image of him via his Instagram Story, “We have fallen into tears repeatedly reminiscing and wondering what we could of [sic] done different [sic] to still have him with us.”
They called the beautician “the brightest light” and said they “have never doubted that he touched the hearts and lives of everyone he came across.”
Jesus was abroad with Jenner as recently as late January.
“Paris with my main girly!!! ❤️” he captioned an Instagram carousel that included pictures and videos from when Jenner turned heads in a plunging corset gown while attending the Jean Paul Gaultier fashion show at Paris Couture Week.
A few weeks prior, Jesus styled the reality star’s dark locks for the 2025 Golden Globe Awards, which she attended with her boyfriend, best actor in a motion picture drama winner Timothée Chalamet.
However, Jenner was absent from the 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Feb. 23, as the ceremony took place just after Jesus died.
Her half-sisters Kim and Khloé Kardashian posted tributes to Jesus the next day.
In part, Kim penned via her Instagram Story, “My heart breaks for Kylie and everyone who loved Jesus the way we all did,” while Khloé reposted the tribute and added in part, “This is such an incredible deep loss.”
