Bollywood actor Govinda‘s wife Sunita Ahuja has been in news for some time now after her statements about Krushna Abhishek and his wife Kashmera Shah. Recently she spoke about baptism as a child. In an interview on the Time Out with Ankit YouTube channel, Sunita shared insights into her diverse socio-economic and cultural background. She even described herself as being half-Punjabi and half-Nepali. She revealed that she was baptized when she started attending school. Sunita revealed that she got to know that wine was served during mass and wanted to experience it. She also mentioned that she used to observe fasts and used to visit different places of worship.
She even said that she was born in Bandra and was baptized and used to attend a Christian school, and all her friends were Christians. She said that as a child she heard that Jesus’ blood is wine, and thought to herself that ‘Wine means alcohol’. Sunita Ahuja was always very curious and thought there was no harm in having a drink. To taste some wine, she got herself baptized. Sunita followed Christianity and went to church every Saturday. She even said that she also visits dargahs, gurudwaras, and temples. On asked if her parents were upset by her decision, Sunita said that they never found out. She also spoke about the cultural differences between her and Govinda. She said that she went from wearing miniskirts to sarees and her husband used to dislike her. She used to tell her husband that she is from Bandra and he is from Virar. Govinda told her that her mother would not like it.

As we earlier stated in another piece of entertainment news, Sunita spoke about if she would be interested in participating in Bigg Boss and she revealed that she has been offered Bigg Boss OTT. She said that the makers approached her twice and she told them, ‘Are you mad? You think I clean toilets?’ She even added saying that, ‘You ask me this question, but tell me, would you ask Shah Rukh Khan’s wife the same thing? Do you think we’re struggling financially? I don’t even watch Bigg Boss’.
