After causing a commotion with her white Balenciaga gown on the Vanity Fair Oscar party 2025 red carpet Sunday night, Kim Kardashian changed into a look for an “after after party” that couldn’t be more different.
The 44-year-old Skims mogul showed off her croc-embossed leather Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture by Ludovic de Saint Sernin gown on Instagram Tuesday, striking a series of poses in the skintight design.
Styled by Dani Levi, the look was completed with matching croc-stamped stiletto boots that perfectly matched her textured number.
Kardashian seemed to keep her slicked-back bun, barely there glam and lack of accessories from her VF ensemble.
Fans gushed over her look in the comments.
“This dress omggg🖤🖤,” one wrote. “Oh love the boots matching the dress,” another added.
One commenter even compared the star to Batwoman — a much better comparison than those she faced earlier in the day for her custom Balenciaga dress made of Tyvek, a high-density type of polyethylene that’s used in house wrap, personal protective equipment, medical packaging and more.
Vanity Fair shared Kardashian’s look on Instagram, and followers swiftly criticized the wrinkled ballgown in the comments.
“Like the fitted sheet no one can fold,” one cracked. “Toilet paper and a terrible tan,” shared another.
“Spare a square?” asked a third, while a fourth dubbed her “Kleenex Kardashian.”
Fortunately, it seems as though the star has redeemed herself with her reptilian attire.
