Kim Kardashian is known for her extravagance especially around the holidays, and this year was no exception as she turned her $60 million mansion into a virtual winter wonderland.
The reality star, 45, posted a video to her Instagram Stories that showed off an astounding number of Christmas trees – at least 50, possibly more – decked out with fake snow and brilliant white lights.

‘This is what I come home to,’ Kardashian said softly as classical music emanated from a grand piano.
The massive fir trees were arranged in the home’s spacious entryway and spilled into a vacuous living room beyond.
Kardashian – who previously said she ‘doesn’t believe’ in giving her kids homework – believes in spending a fortune on holiday decor, but her social media share brought back a wave of backlash from fans, who took to Reddit to complain.
‘”Magical” is not how I’d describe my house if it looked like a Christmas tree warehouse having a sale,’ one commented.

‘Looks like Christmas tree pop up store at the mall,’ another vented.
‘Her house is about as cozy as a morgue,’ a third chimed in.
The mother-of-four gave an earlier glimpse of the alpine scenery in a previous video on her Instagram Stories.
‘OK, we just finished decorating for the holidays,’ she said in the beginning of the video before panning her camera around the house where she was surrounded by Christmas trees.
Fake snow was spread out around the floor beneath them and more faux snow flakes dusted the branches from which a myriad of golden lights gleamed.
‘I can’t even begin to explain to you what this smells like and feels like. It’s pretty insane,’ Kardashian described. ‘Look at the hallway,’ she added, as more trees popped up around a corner.
Kardashian also used the snowy display in a recent photoshoot for her all-new SKIMS winter collection.
‘Ready for the slopes in my @thenorthface x @skims,’ she captioned a carousel of photos of her modeling various jackets and pants and gloves, her hair falling loose over her shoulders and her eyes covered in dark shades.

This isn’t the first time Kardashian has taken her holiday decorating to the max. She typically does this every year.
A few years ago, she hung $100 bills as ornaments on a Christmas tree with her daughter North, shared on their TikTok account kimandnorth.
Back in 2021, the fashion mogul revealed she hired a pianist during the holiday season to play Christmas music to rouse her kids out of bed.
‘Good morning! Every morning during the month of December @philthekeys comes to play Christmas music on the piano to wake up the kids,’ Kardashian wrote at the time.
Meanwhile, the family is busy getting ready for their annual Christmas Eve party.
Speaking to People, Kendall Jenner dropped a hint of what this year’s bash would be like.
‘It’s pretty much the usual,’ the model said. ‘Last year, we did a smaller Christmas Eve party, and it was super lovely. Usually, they’re kind of these blowouts for the last, like, since I was born. But we’re doing a smaller one again this year, and I’m really happy about it.
‘And so, it’ll be cozy vibes,’ Jenner added.

Speaking on the Khloe in Wonderland podcast, the middle Kardashian daughter said that the family ‘all equally split the cost of the party.
‘So, for people who don’t know, every year we do a traditional Christmas Eve party that we’ve done since before I’ve been born, my mom has been hosting them, since the ‘70s.
‘And my mom has always hosted them, and then once her kids got older, she sort of handed the baton off when you felt comfortable that we would represent you properly, and we’ve all done a good job.
‘It used to rotate siblings’ homes on who was going to host it.’
The mother of True, 7, and Tatum, 3, revealed that the family have weeks of planning meetings for the bash, but not everyone attends all of them.
She explained: ‘Not everyone shows up, and that’s fine, but if you don’t show up, you don’t get a say so.
‘Then you can’t come to the third meeting and be like, I don’t like that. No, we had two meetings before and we already decided on X, Y, and Z.’
