Kiefer Sutherland allegedly threatened to “kill” a rideshare driver because he refused to pull over and let him out of the car.

The actor was arrested on Jan. 12 in Los Angeles following the altercation with the rideshare driver, the LAPD confirmed to Page Six on Tuesday.

According to TMZ, the catalyst for the incident was the Uber driver allegedly refusing to pull over and let Sutherland out of the car.

The 59-year-old actor called an Uber Black to head home after dinner with a friend, but then wanted the driver to pull over and let him out at some point during the ride, the outlet reported.

Sutherland reportedly told cops that he asked twice, but the driver refused.

The driver alleged that Sutherland threatened to kill him and assaulted him with his hands, before he called 911, according to the outlet.

Sutherland and the driver possibly had trouble understanding one another, as the driver requested a translator when speaking to the LAPD, law enforcement sources told TMZ.

Sutherland’s rep didn’t immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment. The LAPD had no further comment regarding the new report.

The LAPD previously confirmed to Page Six that officers responded to a call early Monday regarding an alleged assault involving a rideshare driver near Sunset Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue in Hollywood.

LAPD, who later identified the suspect as Sutherland, alleged the actor “entered a rideshare vehicle, physically assaulted the driver (the victim), and made criminal threats toward the victim.”

Officers arrested Sutherland for criminal threats.

LAPD noted the alleged victim did not sustain any injuries requiring medical treatment at the scene.

Records obtained by Page Six confirmed the “24” star was arrested and booked on Monday with a bail amount set at $50,000.

He was released at 11:30 p.m. local time the same day, and he’s set to appear in court on Feb. 2.
