Katy Perry is saying goodbye to her recent “Lifetimes Tour” by taking stock of all she’s gained during a transitionary period in her life, which included a breakup with her former fiancé Orlando Bloom and a new love with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
“[I’m] so grateful, this has been amazing. 90 shows, I think our whole lives have changed,” the singer, 41, reflected in a video shared via Instagram on Sunday, December 7, at times growing emotional and speaking in a whisper. “I’m never gonna be the same. I got a lot on the tour, you know.”
Perry continued: “I got love, I got connections, I got community, I got family, I got tea, I got to grow with you guys.”
The video comes one day after Perry hard-launched her relationship with Trudeau on Instagram. Perry shared a selfie of herself and Trudeau, 53, smiling while posing cheek-to-cheek as part of a carousel of images posted to the platform.
“Tokyo times on tour and more,” Perry, 41, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, December 6.
Perry and Trudeau were first linked this summer after they were spotted one month after the singer and her ex-fiancee Orlando Bloom called off their engagement in June 2025.
“Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable,” a source close to the pair exclusively told Us Weekly at the time. “It’s not contentious at the moment. Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.”
The source added that the breakup was “a long time coming,” adding that Perry was renting her home in Montecito while on tour.
“But her and Orlando have always lived in their other Montecito home as their primary residence,” the source explained. “[They were]planning on making the Westcott home their family home but plans have changed” and “have been living apart since Katy has been on tour.”

Us confirmed in September that Perry and Trudeau were officially dating, adding that the pair had “decided to be much more private” about their relationship despite the fact that they are “very interested in each other.
“Katy is really into it. She’s very happy. She’s trying to keep it low-key, and they’ve spent a lot of private time together,” a second source told Us in October, after the pair celebrated Perry’s birthday in Paris. “She’s not looking to publicize this relationship. Their friends think they are a good match, but he actually hasn’t met a lot of her friends yet.”
Justin and his ex-wife Sophie Trudeau separated in 2023 after 18 years of marriage.
“Sophie and I would like to share the fact that after many meaningful and difficult conversations, we have made the decision to separate,” the now-exes, who share three kids, said in a joint statement in August 2023. “As always, we remain a close family with deep love and respect for each other and for everything we have built and will continue to build. For the well-being of our children, we ask that you respect our and their privacy.”
