Katie Holmes can do no wrong on the red carpet.
On Sunday night, the “Dawson’s Creek” alum, 46, looked flawless in a strapless black Khaite gown at the opening night of William Shakespeare’s “Othello,” held at the Barrymore Theatre in New York.
A longtime fan of Khaite, Holmes opted for an ankle-length dress version of the brand’s satin crepe bustier top ($1,980).
The actress styled the body-hugging number with a pair of eye-catching black Khaite t-strap sandals ($940) as well as the brand’s python-embossed baguette shoulder bag ($1,680) for a hint of edge.
She rounded out the red carpet ensemble with high-shine jewelry from Tabayer, including $17,500 diamond-encrusted hoop earrings and coordinating knot ring ($7,500).
Holmes wore her signature wavy brown hair in a middle part, finishing the beauty look with soft smokey eye and berry-colored lipstick.
The star-studded red carpet also drew in the likes of Jennifer Lopez, who wore a show-stopping Zuhair Murad’s fall 2024 couture two-piece look. The A-lister’s plus-one for the affair was her 17-year-old child Emme, who opted for a dark gray pinstriped suit.
Former President Joe Biden and Jill Biden as well as Anna Wintour, Nicole Scherzinger, Colman Domingo and more were also present to watch Jake Gyllenhaal and Denzel Washington star in the hotly anticipated play.
Holmes knows her way around the Broadway scene, having been cast in the recent Broadway revival of “Our Town,” which also starred Jim Parsons, Richard Thomas and Zoey Deutch.
Deutch, who made her Broadway debut with her role in the play, spoke to People about working alongside Holmes.
“She is pure sunshine,” the actress told the publication. “It’s impossible not to feel. She’s a really, very special person.”
