Kate Hudson’s fiancé, Danny Fujikawa, isn’t bothered by her incessant flirting.
“I’m the biggest flirt on the planet. So I think anybody who’s ever been with me is very aware that I flirt with everybody — girls, boys,” Hudson said in an interview with Bustle published Tuesday.
The “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” star, 45, added that Fujikawa, 38, just goes with the flow when she gets a little spicy with other people.
“Thank God Danny is my partner,” she continued. “He can handle this. I met the right guy.”
Hudson admitted that she has been fascinated with the opposite sex since portraying band groupie Penny Lane in her 2000 film, “Almost Famous.” Her intense infatuation with men even inspired her to take a year-long hiatus from them when she was in her 30s.
“I was like, ‘What?’ I couldn’t flirt –– none of it. But it was great,” she revealed on Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast last May, noting that her therapist encouraged her to ease back on her flirtatious ways.
“I could talk to them, but I couldn’t give them my number,” she added. “So they’d be like, ‘Can I have your number?’ I’d be like, ‘You know, no, I’m not there right now.’”
Hudson said the flirting fast initially made her feel like she lost her mojo but that it eventually became “strangely empowering.” She also got over her habit of wanting to date bad boys.
“If I didn’t do that, I would never have ended up with Danny, because Danny, he’s just such a good man, and I’m not so sure I was attracted to the good man,” she said.
The “Running Point” star and Fujikawa started dating in 2016 and welcomed their 6-year-old daughter, Rani, two years later.
Fujikawa proposed to Hudson in September 2021 after five years together — though the Golden Globe winner admitted that she’s in no rush to tie the knot.
“I love that man … but the last thing we’re doing right now during the holidays is planning anything but the holidays,” she shared in November 2022. “Yeah, we’re in no hurry.”
The “Glass Onion” star was previously married to Chris Robinson from December 2000 to October 2007. The actress and the Black Crowes frontman, 58, share 21-year-old son Ryder.
Hudson also shares 13-year-old son Bingham with her ex-fiancé, Matt Bellamy, 46. The former couple broke up in December 2014 after being engaged for three years.
