Karlie Kloss is doubling down on being a Democrat.

The model made a rare comment on her husband Josh Kushner’s Trump family ties in a Bloomberg Originals interview, published Wednesday.

“I’m a Democrat. It’s possible to have relationships with people who you politically don’t align with,” she insisted. “And I think this country has always been a place for dialogue. We have to be able to talk to each other.”

The 33-year-old, whose partner’s brother, Jared Kushner, is married to President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump, added, “I know who I am.

“I know the values that guide my life and the issues that I care about,” she continued. “So, you know, I haven’t lost sight of who I am, but also, it’s my husband’s family.”

When asked about the dynamic at family dinners, Kloss pointed out, “We’re sitting here in St. Louis, which is a blue dot in a red state. Since as long as I can remember, I’ve always been exposed to a lot of different political points of view, and I think that trained me for my life.”

The former Victoria’s Secret Angel also clarified she has “never met President Trump.”

Her remarks come six years after she told “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” viewers she “voted as a Democrat in 2016 and … plan[ned] to do the same in 2020.”

Kloss started dating Josh, 41, in 2012, with the couple announcing their engagement in July 2018.

They tied the knot three months later in upstate New York, followed by a second ceremony in Wyoming the following summer.

Jared, 45, and Ivanka, 44, meanwhile, have been married since October 2009.

Josh and Kloss were noticeably absent from the couple’s 10th anniversary bash in 2019.

The subsequent year, Kloss made headlines for taking a swipe at her in-laws after Donald’s supporters stormed the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C.

After Kloss tweeted that “accepting the results of a legitimate democratic election is patriotic [and] refusing to do so and inciting violence is anti-American,” a social media user told her to “tell” her family members — and she replied, “I’ve tried.”

Sources told Page Six at the time that Ivanka was “surprised and hurt” — but the pair had a “good relationship” by 2024.

They are not “best friends” but do “get along,” an insider shared with us at the time.

The duo most recently put on a united front in April 2025 during a family vacation in Costa Rica.
