Kanye West credited his daughter North for reminding him about his first love in a sweet Instagram post Monday.
The “Gold Digger” rapper shared a black-and-white picture of the 11-year-old sitting in a chair next to a keyboard in what appeared to be a makeshift music studio.
“This little girl made me love music again 🥲,” he captioned the post. “She asked me to make beats for her I got back on the ASR Chopped up beats for her album and chopped every beats with my bare hand for BULLY.”
West, who shares North with his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, announced late last year that he was working on an album titled “Bully,” though he has yet to share its release date.
The Grammy winner also posted a video Monday of his eldest child standing over a keyboard and bopping her head while he encouraged an unidentified man to play a song.
“Training,” he captioned the post.
Several fans applauded West, 47, and North for bonding and collaborating on music.
“thank you north for inspiring my goat,” one person commented, using the acronym for “greatest of all time.”
“Shes [sic] literally got the best teacher bro,” someone else wrote.
“This is family business,” another fan commented.
“Future legend in training!!” an Instagram user wrote.
“Like Daughter like Father. #GIRLDADS,” one more shared.
North, who referred to herself as “Miss Westie” in past Ye songs, has been following in her father’s footsteps by getting into music at a young age.
The preteen has performed at several of her dad’s shows over the years, but she made her rap debut at West and Ty Dolla $ign’s listening party in Miami in December 2023.
North sang the lyrics to her and her father’s song “Talking/Once Again,” which he officially released in February 2024 on his “Vultures 1” album.
“I love it here / We gonna take over the year for another year / It’s your bestie, Miss, Miss Westie / Don’t try and test me / It’s gonna get messy / It’s gonna get messy / Just, just bless me / Bless me,” she rapped.
North also appeared in the track’s music video with West, in which the two showed off their close bond as he smiled at her and carried her on his shoulders.
More recently, the Hollywood scion sang a rendition of “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” at the Hollywood Bowl’s “Lion King” 30th anniversary event in May 2024.
West and Kardashian, 44, also share sons Saint, 9, and Psalm, 5, and daughter Chicago, 7.
