Say au revoir to uninspired T-shirts.

Kaia Gerber stepped out in New York City recently, pairing relaxed jeans with her Repetto ballet shoes and an effortlessly chic, $68 Cou Cou Rina Long Sleeve Tee.

The sumptuous organic cotton style is fast becoming one of the hottest tops in town; Hailey Bieber and Sabrina Carpenter also wear it on repeat. (Plus, Zoë Kravitz loves the brand’s camisoles.)

But the Gallic inspiration behind the design is actually an icon of another era: the incredible Jane Birkin.

The Rina has elevated details like subtle bell sleeves, a dipped front and picot trim. While Gerber wore black (she was in NYC after all), it comes in other colors as well, plus a mostly sold-out short-sleeve version.

While Cou Cou is an intimates brand, its also makes plenty of chic wardrobe staples. The sustainably-focused label strives to create pieces that marry comfort, quality fabrics and incredible designs — and obviously, the It-girl crowd has taken note.

We love the tribute to the French icon, as well as the ultra-soft fabric — not to mention a price tag that doesn’t make us wince.

While some on-trend retailers like Revolve carry the label, the Rina is only on the Cou Cou site at the moment.

While shopping the site (we’ll be with you in snapping up the not-so-basics), you’ll find plenty of loungewear and casual-yet-stylish pieces, from tees to tanks to everyday slip dresses.

Below, find a few more of our top picks, but don’t hesitate. Once spotted on a star, these things have a way of becoming difficult to find in stock.
