Justin Baldoni’s mother, Sharon Baldoni, celebrated his birthday with a heartfelt Instagram tribute on Friday.
In Sharon’s lengthy message, which comes amid Justin’s ongoing legal battle with his “It Ends With Us” co-star Blake Lively, she reflected on the importance of “justice and truth.”
“Happy Birthday Justin ~ remembering a wonderful moment after the final ending of ‘Jane The Virgin,’” she wrote while sharing photos from Justin’s time on the CW series.
“[It was] a moment where joy and love permeated the set, where friendships and family were born and kindness and integrity permeated the hearts of all the actors and crew, where sadness only entered because it was the final scene of a wonderful journey ~ and the beginning of the rest of our lives.”
Sharon said the 2019 series finale was marked by a “happy, loving and generous memory with hearts exploding with possibilities.”
“Life has its moments and also its surprises — as you keep your integrity through it all justice and truth will shine today and into eternity,” she concluded. “I love you more than you will ever know! Happy Birthday, my beautiful boy! May God continue to bless you in truth.”
Justin’s wife, Emily Baldoni, also posted a tribute to the producer on Friday.
“Happy birthday my love,” she captioned a photo of her kissing Justin as their son, Maxwell, 7, sat on his dad’s shoulders and their daughter, Maiya, 9, hugged them both.
“Celebrating the man, husband, and father that you are. I’d choose you again and again,” she added.
Justin, who turned 41 on Friday, is currently in the middle of a messy battle with Lively. Amid the release of “It Ends With Us” in August 2024, rumors of an on-set feud between the two started to surface. And in December 2024, Lively sued Justin for alleged sexual harassment, claiming he made her uncomfortable on multiple occasions by inappropriately talking about his past porn addiction and walking in on her while breast-feeding without permission.
Lively also claimed Justin fostered a “hostile work environment” and attempted to launch a concentrated PR campaign to ruin her reputation.
Justin vehemently denied any wrongdoing before filing a $400 million suit of his own against Lively for damages.
In court documents obtained by Page Six, Justin’s legal team claimed that Lively was “determined to make [Justin] the real-life villain in her story” to mask her alleged “tone-deaf” promotion of the film.
Lively denied the accusations.
