Seafood restaurant chain Jumbo Group will introduce a special limited-time menu between Sept 21 and 29 as it marks the closure of its flagship outlet at East Coast Park on Sept 30. Opened in 1987, the East Coast outlet was the first Jumbo Seafood restaurant and the birthplace of the home-grown seafood chain. The restaurant will also donate 50 per cent of all set menu sales proceeds directly to six selected charitable organisations "in the spirit of giving back", it said in a press release on Thursday (Sept 17).
