Meghan Markle’s Netflix show, “With Love, Meghan,” is still catching strays two weeks after its release.
During Monday’s episode of “The Tonight Show,” Jimmy Fallon made fun of Markle’s now-viral hosting hack — transferring pre-packed pretzels into personalized bags.
While playing a trivia game with Steve Higgins, the “Saturday Night Live” alum was asked, “What is the No. 1 question that mystifies scientists?”
After a bit of thinking, Fallon guessed, “Is there life on another planet?”
“Oh, no,” Higgins jokingly replied, revealing the real answer Jeopardy-style, “Why does Meghan Markle make her own pretzel bags?”
Higgins said that scientists “don’t know why” the Duchess of Sussex would take the time to transfer the crackers, prompting a chuckle from Fallon and the rest of the live audience.
“That’s interesting,” Fallon sarcastically replied. “She takes it from one bag and puts it in another bag, and that confuses people.”
In a scene from the lifestyle series, which came out on March 4, Markle prepared a welcome basket for her longtime friend and makeup artist, Daniel Martin, who was staying at her house.
The guest basket featured homemade bath salts, flowers, fresh produce and midnight munchies — such as homemade popcorn and pre-bought peanut butter pretzels.
However, rather than just giving Martin the bag of pretzels, the former royal dumped them into a small, clear bag with a personalized tag.
“This, we’re just going to put into a different bag,” the 43-year-old said of the peanut butter nuggets — one of her favorite snacks.
“I know that Daniel loves peanut butter but I’m going to label this anyway, you always want to be conscious if someone has a nut allergy,” she noted.
Netizens were quick to slam the hosting hack — along with other viral moments from the controversial series, which has been renewed for a second season.
“I’m so glad Meghan Markle has a new show on Netflix where I can watch her take pretzels out of a labeled bag and put them into a new bag…then label it. The people’s Martha Stewart!” one user wrote on X.
“In Meghan Markle’s Netflix cookery series, she teaches us mere mortals how to transfer pretzels from one bag into another,” another sarcastic user added. “Several sources say both Mary Berry and Prue Leith have resigned from their own shows for not thinking of this genius method first.”
“Thank you for sharing my recap of Meghan Markle’s new cooking show–in which she transferred pretzels from one bag into another like she was splitting the atom,” a third wrote.
Despite seemingly never-ending criticism, the “Suits” alum announced her new podcast, “Confessions of a Female Founder,” just one week after the show premiered.
Markle, 43, will sit down with different female entrepreneurs to discuss how they shaped their brands ahead of the release of her own business, As ever.
The first episode is set to be released on April 8.
