Jeremy Thomas, the British film producer known for his work on the 1987 Oscar-winning film The Last Emperor, has died. He was 77. Thomas’ team announced Saturday, according to a statement in reports, that he died peacefully Friday, Sept. 11, at his country home in Oxfordshire, surrounded by his family and loved ones. Born in London on July 26, 1949, Thomas came from a family rooted in the entertainment industry.
