Jennifer Lopez enjoyed a sweet date night in style alongside her 17-year-old child Emme.
On Sunday, the actress, 55, and the teen hit the carpet at the Broadway opening night of “Othello,” where Lopez donned a black Zuhair Murad two-piece gown, featuring a rhinestone-covered cropped turtleneck top and a maxi skirt to match.
The “On the Floor” singer topped her bedazzled look with a black fur coat and black velvet Tyler Ellis Perry Clutch ($2,950). She also amped up the sparkles even further with chunky diamond hoops from Briony Raymond jewelry.
Lopez rocked a super sleek bun and glowy glam makeup while wrapping her arm around an equally stylish Emme.
Meanwhile, Emme posed in a black and white pinstriped suit complete with a printed tie and a gray button-down shirt. They paired the ensemble with black loafers, black eyeglasses and stacks of rings and earrings.
“I have the most amazing date for the black-tie premiere of ‘Othello’ here in New York tonight,” the proud mom said in a video on her Instagram Story before panning the camera over to Emme and giggling.
“Super excited! Here we go,” she added as the pair headed over to the Barrymore Theatre for the star-studded red carpet, which included former President Joe Biden and Jill Biden, Katie Holmes, Anna Wintour, Colman Domingo, Kandi Burress and more.
Stars of the highly anticipated show include Jake Gyllenhaal and Denzel Washington, who also appeared on the red carpet ahead of their debut.
Lopez shares Emme and twin Max with her ex-husband Marc Anthony. The siblings turned 17 just last month, and Lopez couldn’t wait to share her love for the pair on Instagram, posting a video montage of them growing up from babies to teenagers.
“Seventeen. I love you beyond forever 🥥🥥,” the pop star captioned the clip, referring to the “coconut” nickname she has for her children.
